Health Plan Options for 2015

State employees will see most of their health, dental and vision options return in 2015. For health plan coverage, two HMO carriers, GlobalHealth and CommunityCare will be available. GlobalHealth will be statewide and CommunityCare will be in the Tulsa area only. HealthChoice, the state-sponsored indemnity plan, also returns with a High and Basic plan design. HealthChoice will once again offer a third health plan option called the HealthChoice HDHP Account, (formerly the S-Account) a high deductible health plan.

Listed below are Health, dental and vision plan choices for State employees:

Oklahoma state employees have the option to opt out of the offered benefits. A TRICARE Supplement plan is once again available through the employee benefit program for retired Military Employees.




In 2015, the Debit Card will again be offered at NO CHARGE: The Flexible Spending Debit card continues gaining popularity among employees. The annual fee of $14.40 usually charged for the card has been paid on behalf of the employee by the Employees Benefits Department.

Option Period is October 1 through October 31, 2014.

Don't forget to enroll online. Last year, 91% of employees chose this convenient enrollment option.

Questions regarding your benefits should be directed to your agency’s Benefits Coordinator. Choose the State Benefits Coordinators list to locate the name and contact information for the Coordinator at your agency.

Throughout the year, you can access the BAS System, for Benefits and Flexible Spending Information. Use the ID and password you selected during Online Enrollment. Please allow Pop Ups from this Site when viewing reports.

If you or a dependent are eligible for Medicare, please open, print, and read the attached document. It provides you with important information about your rights under Medicare's Part D prescription drug benefit.
